MODULO
–Faq
Is MODULO treadable during installation?
Yes, it is. Just follow the recommendations indicated on the form. Only with temperatures above 30° C, it is necessary to be more careful.
How are ventilation stacks installed?
There is no exact calculations or prescriptions related to the required distance. To obtain an effective ventilation it is important to ensure the chimney effect, with the greatest as possible difference in height between north and south and an extended aeration surface. Geoplast Technical Department is in any case available to give all necessary assistance during both design and installation.
Why is GEOBLOCK necessary? Can’t I cut the forms?
It is possible to cut the forms, but this causes a loss in time and material; as a consequence, in money. Just think of the accumulation of not used waste plastic (although completely paid) and charges for the disposal of that waste.
How much concrete do the form require?
For each size of the element tables with concrete consumption (up to the top of the form) are included in the website and in the catalog.
N.B. With MODULO H65 and H70 we recommend to wet the forms before the pour with temperatures above 30° C.
What are the advantages of Modulo Fast Leg? What happens if is not used?
When the concrete is poured on Modulo from a height greater than 50cm, the pressure can deform the legs of the formwork. Without Fast Leg, it would be necessary to decrease the casting speed and fill the space between Modulo elements gradually, in 2 successive phases. Fast Leg works as a reinforcement that allows for the casting of concrete without interruption, in a single step, considerably saving construction time.
