Geopanel was chosen as a cost-effective hand-held formwork for the construction of foundation walls at the new center of excellence in Biology-Pharmacy-Chemistry at Paris-Sud University, located on the Plateau de Saclay. The new building with an overall surface of 85,000 m2 is one of the largest university buildings in France. Geoplast panels were planned for construction on the foundation level. However, our formwork proved to be so adaptable and easy to use that the construction team decided to continue using it throughout the construction site instead of timber and plywood.
