Matrix is laid on the floor slab following the removal of any debris. The installation is carried out in 2 steps:
1. Arrange the base grids on the surface, making sure they are correctly hooked.
2. Place the top formwork from right to left and from top to bottom, always keeping the printed arrows upwards. It is essential to check that the feet fit together correctly.
Matrix four-arm base grid modules are laid on the slab and coupled by pressure hooking. This creates a mapping for the passage of MEP systems.
MEP systems are laid according to project specifications.
Matrix top formwork modules are laid according to the assembly diagram.
After the steel mesh is laid, concrete is poured over the formwork, creating a uniform, high load-bearing floor base.
The concrete structure created with Matrix is seamless, suitable for any type of top finishing, even in case of change in building use. Matrix works with standard market accessories such as power distribution towers, telephone lines, access doors, grids, etc.
The monolithic concrete structure on top of the Matrix system isolates MEP from flooring, allowing safe evacuation in case of fire.
Unlike the floating floors with a metal substructure, Matrix guarantees a high load-bearing capacity, making the floor suitable for any use. The system also improves the seismic resilience of the building.
Thanks to its versatility and flexibility, Matrix allows the possibility to design interior spaces with the utmost freedom and provides the opportunity to change how a space is used after construction.
