The DRENING system is arranged to create underground retention ponds used for “in-situ” rainwater management: an element for installing high capability dispersion and accumulation chambers.
This system can also be used for sewage disposal in settlements that are not connected to the sewer system. The solution is ideal for dealing with rainwater in car parks as it significantly reduces the water volume in the drainage system.
Therefore, this subsurface irrigation system facilitates the infiltration in the soil preventing floods.
DRENING is easy and fast to install. Its modular structure adapts to every available surface and guarantees minimally invasive interventions.
Moreover, thanks to its high resistance, it can be installed in high-traffic areas.
The system main advantages are:
LIGHTWEIGHT: DRENING weighs just 11 kg and can be moved manually without mechanical equipment.
FAST: Its light weight and easy installation allow fast and safe creation of the basin.
RESISTANT: The arch structure of DRENING produces high mechanical resistance, which allows to place it under high traffic areas.
DRAINING: Its high dispersion surface guarantees fast and efficient disposal of the collected water.
The Drening cap is the only one that permits both the entry and the exit basin closures. It has to be hooked by interlocking, In the case it doesn’t hook at one side, rotate it by 180° and try to hook it again. Each cap is made to be perforated and the pipes standard diameters are indicated with a stamp. The pipes can be inserted both at the top and at the bottom of the cap.

Where can DRENING be installed?
Drening can be installed below any surface: from green areas to heavy traffic zones, provided it is set up with the correct stratigraphy. Installation below buildings is not recommended.
Why use DRENING if I can drain the water into the sewer system?
The authorities in many areas set the maximum flow rate of water that can be released into the sewer system and these limits are usually very restrictive. A properly sized DRENING basin permits the disposal of water in accordance with the provisions, preventing sewer obstruction and surface flooding. By infiltrating the water into the subsoil, the natural hydrological balance is restored, contributing to the preservation of groundwater.
